Thanksgivin' Sippin'!

Thanksgivin' Sippin' is back! Sip thru Sonoma Valley, and check out four of Sonoma Valley’s—dare we say—most FUN tasting rooms on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 25 and 26! Two days! Four wineries! One ticket!

For $50 ($35 for club members of any participating winery) enjoy a tasting at each of these wineries:

Kivelstadt Cellars (Carneros, 11am-5pm): Kivelstadt believes wine, like life, is meant to be enjoyed with friends and food. They make honest wine from organic vineyards throughout California. Focusing on farming and minimalist winemaking, they craft wines that appeal to everyone, from casual to connoisseur. Sip some of those wines under the 100-year-old Sycamores at their Wine Garden just south of Sonoma.

Three Fat Guys Wines (Sonoma, 10am-5pm): Whether you’re a seasoned wine pro or just starting your journey, TFG’s knowledgeable and friendly staff will lead you on a journey of taste and discovery. So grab a group of your wildest wine-loving friends and get ready to sip, savor, and laugh the day away as you taste some of the best wines California has to offer! It’s a party in a glass and you’re invited!

Wine Snob* Winery (Glen Ellen, 11am-6pm): Wine Snob* is a husband-and-wife team that produces some of the usual suspects and some beloved oddball wines from sustainably and organically farmed grapes and has more than a little fun while they’re at it! Enjoy a line-up ranging from Gewürztraminer bubbly to Sangiovese to a Cabernet Sauvignon named after Glen Ellen’s mountain lion matriarch, Puma-1, at their modern-industrial tasting room. And shop a holiday market with local vendors if you visit on Small Business Saturday!

Ty Caton Vineyards (Kenwood, 11am-6pm): Ty Caton Vineyards’ commitment to excellence begins in the Caton Vineyard, where winemaker Ty Caton sustainably farms the hillside fruit used in their Moon Mountain District wine. Taste award-winning wines (including their flagship Tytanium, a proprietary blend of all six grapes grown on the vineyard, as well as their vineyard-designate Cabernet Sauvignons) in a comfortable atmosphere in a tasting room that knows how to have fun!
